Hi Annie! Can you tell us who you are and what you do?
My name's Annie, I'm from Stockholm and have been streaming full-time for the past 5 years or so :)

So do you have a favorite game that is close to your heart?
The game I have played the most is World of Warcraft. I love the fact that the game has a huge immersive world and a social aspect which is great for both existing and new friends.
Hod did you get started with gaming and what set your career as a streamer off?
We had games in my household since I can remember. My used to play on the NES with my sister's and I - our favourite franchise was Super Mario Bros haha! I started playing more PC games when I got older and could afford my own computer - that's when I got into World of Warcraft. :) I started streaming for fun back in 2014 after taking a break from my studies at Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (Royal School of Technology). I had already been playing quite a bit of World of Warcraft during my freetime, while looking for a part-time job. My friends managed to convince me to start livestreaming my experience.

When did you realise gaming was your thing and could be a full time job?
I never really realised haha, it just happened! I was streaming for fun for friends back when I was raiding in World of Warcraft. I guess I was doing the right thing at the right time, so luck was definitely a factor haha.

We believe you make your own luck! But why AnnieFuchsia? Can you tell us the story about your gaming tag?
I added the name Fuchsia to my name because I thought it went well together The meaning behind fuchsia is a pretty pink/purple flower that I like. I think the word sounds beautiful as well

Thats actually a really beautiful gamertag! Do you have a beautiful gaming memory you can tell us of?
Sitting and playing together with my sisters and my dad on the NES :D

Social gaming is the best! But what is your worst gaming memory?
I used to have a really bad computer and a terrible internet connection. I was unable to play on things like the release of Diablo III and that was really annoying.

Who enjoys bad hardware.. How do you clear your mind when you are not gaming and streaming?
I enjoy drawing in my spare time and watching shows with my cats. :D
What motivates you to keep creating and pushing yourself?
Hearing stories from people who are touched, motivated or in another way positively affected by what I do is my biggest motivator :) I want to make people happy and create a place where people can find and meet more like-minded people. I believe it's important to make friends with other people who do what you do, and build a network like that. On top of that it's also very important to stay consistent, not only on your stream channel but also other social media like Twitter and Instagram. Being a streamer is not a 9 to 5, it's a lifestyle!
What advice would you give to young creators starting out?
Do what you love doing! Passion is very visible and contagious :) Also, don't be afraid to make mistakes or looking silly - feel free to laugh at yourself sometimes :)
I believe it's important to understand that aiming to have a career in streaming is like aiming to become a football or pop star. Not everyone will be fortunate enough to turn their passion into a career, but don't let that discourage you. With streaming, the journey is sometimes more important than the destination. Enjoy what you are doing not just for the financial aspect, but rather because it makes you happy. You never know what opportunities may arise.

Awesome advice! Lastly, What are you up to right now and how can people follow you?
I stream almost every day on twitch.tv/anniefuchsia - I mostly play World of Warcraft but dedicate Sundays to variety games, often RPGs like Zelda or platformers like Ori and the Blind Forest. My current Sunday game is BioShock :)
